OrthoWave® - Noninvasive Chronic Tendinitis Treatment $2700
Noninvasive
No Downtime
Only One Treatment Required
FDA Approved, Class III, Shockwave Therapy Device
Chronic tendinitis can be debilitating, causing pain and disruption during activities ranging from simply getting out of bed to playing your favorite sport.
There are limits to what medication, injections, and other conservative treatments can do, and everyone wants to avoid the risks, downtime, and recovery of surgery. OrthoWave® High-energy Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (HeSWT) is the treatment that will end your pain.
OrthoWave® is a non-invasive treatment completed in office
- Only a single 40 min treatment is required to end the pain
- Prior to treatment, a local anesthetic is often administered to numb the treatment site
- You are positioned in an exam chair, ultrasound gel applied, and the HeSWT treatment head placed precisely against the injured tendon
- 3000 to 4000 shockwaves are delivered at a specific frequency/energy level while ensuring your comfort
- Post treatment instructions are provided and you are able to leave and travel home immediately
- You will have no restrictions on routine activities (work, home, etc) but must avoid high-impact activities for 30 days as you heal
Don't live in the Austin area? No problem. The initial consultation and follow up appointments can be conducted via phone or VTC and only one treatment session is required. You can travel to Austin, enjoy some amazing barbeque, be treated, and then travel home.
