IT Consulting CALL
I am currently consulting for a surgical practice offering price-transparent, fee-for service procedures to self-pay patients and self-insured employer-payers. I assist in the selection and use of computer applications and services with the aim of advancing the practice's efficiency, growth, and data security.
Before focusing on helping price-transparent, market-oriented practices, I had a 25-year career in developing and supporting EMRs, medical data interfaces (HL7), and ancillary medical data systems in acute and post-acute care environments, and in an insurance clearinghouse.
I am also interested in working on improving medical data privacy techniques, and I do not hesitate to advise clients and other providers to go low-tech, when that is the better choice.
