St. George Surgical Center
St. George Surgical Center (SGSC) is an 11,000 square foot, state-of-the-art, physician-owned Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) in southern Utah. Located in sunny St. George, SGSC is a multi-specialty facility, owned and operated by many of the top surgeons in the greater southern Utah region.
Being physician-owned and operated allows our facility to keep surgical costs low, allowing the savings to be passed on to our valued patients and their families. In 2014, we became one of the few ambulatory surgery centers to post surgery prices online. St. George Surgical Center offers one transparent price for over 220 procedures that includes the surgeon fee, surgery center fee, and anesthesia fee.
Patient safety is a top priority, as demonstrated by an extremely low infection rate of 0.037%, compared to the national average of 2.6%. SGSC’s 99.6% client satisfaction rate speaks volumes about how well our patients feel about their surgical experience. The biggest compliment we receive is when our patients come back to us for future procedures and when they recommend us to their family and friends.
As the original ASC in southern Utah, SGSC has provided high quality care to the region for over 30 years. Patients from 38 states and Canadian Provinces have taken advantage of the low-cost, high-quality care that is provided by the staff at St. George Surgical Center.
